Treasury Analyst

What will you do:

• Review and validate payment batches prepared by the accounting department
• Reconcile bank statements and prepare Cash Flow statements
• Suggest enhancements and support process improvements for workflow and payment approval
• Support the planning and coordination of the Forecast and Budget processes
• Monitor compliance in line with the financing contracts and preparation of documentation for reporting
• Prepare reports for management to support monthly, quarterly and annual closing
• Work closely with other departments to support any finance issues
• Take a proactive approach to improving work processes in order to support business demand and growth

Requirements:

Who you are:

• 3-5 years experience working in the field of Finance, preferably in Treasury
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Controls, Finance or Business Economics
• C1 English and B2 Dutch proficiency
• Numerical and Analytical skills, including advanced Excel skills
• Great Miscrosoft Office skills, including Power BI
• Team player, proactive and great communication skills both written and verbal
• Affinity with international environments and an interest in renewable energy would be a plus

Our client has been developing renewable energy projects for over 30 years, they have offices worldwide and are looking to expand their Netherlands team in their Amsterdam office. You will be working in a small finance team of 3-5 people and reporting to the Finance Manager who is based in Spain.
