What will you do?

  • You can recognize opportunities and turn leads into long-lasting partnerships.
  • You will communicate directly with clients and prospects, understand their individual needs, and recommend products or services that maximize our value.
  • You will manage orders and assist in developing sales strategies and establishing quotas. You should be an adaptable, knowledgeable multi-tasker with strong computer and communication skills.
  • Set and monitor sales targets for international markets and clients.
  • Onboard new clients
  • Manage and build new relationships with Retail shops in export markets.
  • Manage and input new orders for customers.
  • Identify potential customers and set approach strategies.
  • Consulting with management on business issues and growth strategies
  • Develop strong and long-term client relationships.
  • Act as the liaison between clients and the company
  • Resolve issues and handle complaints quickly and effectively.
  • Support team and clients with new features and product launches
  • Get feedback and suggest ways to increase customer engagement.
  • Visiting customers (mainly in the Netherlands and Germany)

Requirements:

Who are you?

  • Fluency in German (C2 level) & English (C1 level)
  • If you speak Dutch, that would be a plus
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • 3-5 years Account management experience, Pet or Aquatic Industry preferred
  • Comprehensive and current knowledge of company offerings and industry trends.
  • The drive and energy to manage multiple accounts while looking for new opportunities.
  • Ability to understand client needs and handle the negotiation process.
  • Strong time management skills.
  • Adapts quickly and being flexible
  • Computer skills, especially MS Office and CRM software.
  • You must live in the Netherlands and in possess of a valid working permit for the Netherlands
  • Driving license is a must

Salary Benefits:

This is a long term position
The salary will be between € 40K and € 60K gross per year (depending on education and work experience), excluding holiday money of 8% and bonus scheme
The start date can be discussed

Our client is a company that provides sustainable & stylish aquariums for homes worldwide. The European market is expanding, therefore they are looking for an Account Manager who will be responsible for the following markets: Germany, The Netherlands, France and Belgium.
